What is Ceylumen Commerce?

Ceylumen Commerce is ready-made software for running your own online shop or multi-vendor marketplace. It includes a storefront, an admin panel and the back end, with payments, email, WhatsApp, flash sales, festival campaigns, retail and wholesale pricing and SEO already built in. You can buy it once and own the source code, or pay monthly and have it hosted for you on your own domain.

How much does Ceylumen Commerce cost?

Buying it once costs from LKR 69,999 for a lifetime licence with the full source code. The hosted shop costs from LKR 2,990 a month, with 20% off when you pay yearly. There is no commission on your sales with either.

Who is Ceylumen Commerce for?

It is for shop owners who sell through social media and want a real website of their own, for wholesalers who also sell retail, and for anyone who wants to run a marketplace where other sellers list their products.

Is it a multi-vendor marketplace?

Yes, when you want it to be. You can run it as a single shop, or let other sellers apply to sell. You approve each seller; every seller gets a shop page, manages their own products and orders, and asks you for payouts.

How long does it take to launch?

The software is already built and tested, so launching means installing it, adding your logo and colours, entering your payment details and adding your products. Most of the time goes into adding your own products.

What exactly do I get?

The complete Ceylumen Commerce project: storefront, admin panel and back end with full source code, the installation guide, the platform documentation and a licence key for one store. With the Complete launch plan you also get one year of VPS hosting and one year of a domain name.

How do I receive it?

Straight after payment your order page shows a Download menu, like on any software marketplace: the project files and documentation, and your licence certificate as PDF or text. We email you the same link, so you can come back any time.

Is it a one-time payment?

Yes. The licence is for life for one store. The free hosting and domain cover the first year; after that you renew them at the provider's normal price, or move the store to any server you like.

Should I buy once or pay monthly?

Buy once if you want to own the platform, keep the source code and run it on your own server for years. Pay monthly if you would rather start with a small amount and have us host, update and look after the shop. Both have every feature and no commission on your sales.

What happens if I stop the monthly plan?

You can cancel any time from your subscription page. You are not charged again and your shop stays open until the end of the time you paid for. After that the shop is paused, and we keep your products and orders for 30 days: pay again in that time and it reopens exactly as you left it.

Can you install it for me?

Yes. Tick "Full project setup" at checkout (LKR 15,000) and we install the store on your server and domain, set up payments, email and the scheduled tasks, and hand it over ready to add products.

Can I try it before buying?

Yes. The live demo on this page is the real product, with demo products loaded. Open the storefront and the admin panel, click around, place a test order.

Which payment methods can I use to buy?

Card and wallet payments through PayHere, or a bank transfer. PayHere payments are confirmed at once; bank transfers are confirmed after we check your slip, usually within a working day.

Can I move my store to another domain later?

Yes. Deactivate the licence on the old domain from the admin panel and activate it on the new one. One licence runs one live store at a time.

Do I need a developer?

Not for day-to-day work: products, banners, campaigns, orders and settings are all managed from the admin panel. A developer helps only if you want to change the design or add new features.
